David Cooperman is the Vice President of Military and Government Affairs for DVI Training Systems. He represents DVITS across the military and government community, helping leaders understand how the company’s training capabilities can address readiness, performance, and modernization requirements.
David brings more than 30 years of aviation experience across the United States Marine Corps, Air Force Reserve, federal law enforcement, and commercial aviation. As an instructor pilot, weapons and tactics instructor, training supervisor, and program leader, he has instructed and evaluated aviators for complex missions in environments where discipline, judgment, and technical proficiency are essential.
At DVITS, David connects the company’s capabilities with the needs of the warfighter. He develops relationships across the defense community, listens closely to operational and training challenges, and helps customers identify practical paths from requirement to solution. He also supports partnerships and growth opportunities that allow DVITS to serve more missions across the Department of Defense.
David’s work is rooted in service. He understands the responsibility that comes with supporting military training and ensures that DVITS remains focused on the people who must ultimately carry the mission forward.
