There’s no question that video is an essential part of training.
It’s not a question of if, but when airlines turn to video training. With a new generation of pilots on the horizon, now is the time to create a training library designed to meet the needs of a changing workforce.
Today’s pilots want to learn through video.
That’s where we come in.
Next-generation video training with interactivity and enhanced analytics.
Interactive videos increase time spent watching by 47%.
Our brains process imagery 60,000 times faster than text.
Interactive videos are 32% more memorable than traditional video.
Viewers retain 95% of a message when they watch it in a video compared to 10% when reading it in text.
The content you need...
Customized for Pilots
Our instructional design team develops learning strategies based on your training objectives and processes. By designing around the pilot user experience, we make sure that important information is clear and accessible.
Built for Scale
We don’t just build a video, we build an engine. Our industry tested workflows allow us to produce mass quantities of video without sacrificing accuracy or quality. That means your airline can get up and running with the necessary content as quickly as possible.
Designed for Change
Nothing is set in stone in the world of aviation or flight procedures, so we build our content to allow for easy updates. The result is content that stays relevant and an investment that continues to show returns over the long haul.
...and the team to get you there.
Aviation Specialists
Our staff speaks the language of aviation. That eliminates miscommunications, allows you to deploy a training library faster, and reduces stress on your internal training resources.
Instructional Design Specialists
We understand the ways people absorb and retain information. Our staff studies best practices in the field of learning and development in order to optimize your training content.
Video Production Specialists
From live-action to 2D or 3D animation, we get video. With decades of experience and a history of award winning content creation, we bring our expertise and best practices to every project we touch.

Case Study: U.S. Air Force
We’ve been awarded a Phase II Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) contract to design state-of-the-art aviation training modules for Air Mobility Command’s KC-10 Formal Training Unit.
“Working with The DVI Group is an incredible opportunity for us to modernize aircrew training like never before. Through our partnership, we are bringing our student-facing training modules into the 21st century nearly overnight.” - Major Douglas P. Zschoche

Case Study: Delta Air Lines eBrief Project
Over the past three years, DVI designed, produced and deployed more than 300 Next-Generation Video Training modules for Delta Air Lines. The training modules cover a wide range of learning topics, including procedures, maneuvers, human factors, extended envelope training, and automation. The system has been deployed to a pilot group with more than 14,000 students.
The result - increase training efficiency and improve training standardization across the enterprise.
What the Pilots are Saying
“These videos give a much better understanding of the maneuvers. This should be used as a training tool on every fleet”
“These e-Briefing videos are the best tools I have EVER seen in my 20 years at Delta.”
“These videos are the best thing that Delta has done to enhance standardization and training. Excellent!!!”
“Every fleet MUST have the eBrief videos. They are amazing.”
"I think it’s fair to say that there are two types of pilots: Those that are fans of the ebrief training videos, and those who’ve just never seen them."
“The briefing videos are bar none some of the most exceptional tools I’ve ever seen in a Delta fleet training program!

Case Study: Flight Path Management
As human factors research has developed, Delta Air Lines has initiated substantial changes to both pilot training and line operations. We collaborated with members of the Human Factors Working Group to develop training that helps break these changes down for pilots and explains not only the what, but the why behind the changes.
