Bud Simpson is the Director of Information Security and Technology at DVI Training Systems. He leads the systems, safeguards, and technology programs that protect the company’s work and enable its teams to serve defense customers securely and reliably.
Bud brings nearly 20 years of experience spanning technology, documentation systems, content production, and education. Before joining DVITS, he managed technical documentation programs at The Home Depot and developed systems and training that helped teams create, maintain, and use complex information more consistently. His earlier work included leading a creative production company and supporting educational programs in the United States and abroad.
At DVITS, Bud is responsible for cybersecurity, CMMC readiness, technology infrastructure, secure collaboration, vendor coordination, and the documentation required to sustain a compliant operating environment. He also helps guide technology initiatives that improve how DVITS develops, reviews, and delivers its work.
Bud’s responsibility is to make security and compliance part of daily operations—not an exercise performed only for an audit. His work helps ensure that DVITS protects customer information, maintains operational resilience, and gives its people secure, dependable systems in which to perform their best work.
